Is this your Enemy Year?

The ritual

How it works

It starts the same for everyone — then splits into how you want to work with me.

Three systems · one picture

Most astrologers read one thing.
I use multiple.

Your birthday isn’t a personality quiz. It’s a set of coordinates — and your whole life was built around them. Some of it working for you. Some of it quietly against you.

The magic is the synthesis — when the systems agree, I tell you to move. When they conflict, I tell you to wait.

Everything is energy — and I know how to decode it.

Your money

There are years to buy — and years a purchase bleeds you dry.

Your business

Launch in the wrong year and you'll fight it for a decade.

Your love

Why it's been this hard — and whether the two of you were ever timed to work.

Your home

The number on your door decides how you feel every day you live there. Some addresses lift you. Some drain you.

The feature nobody else has

Predict your good years and bad years.

The one nobody warns you about: your Enemy Year. When the calendar itself turns against your sign, the losses come in five forms — your money, your career, betrayal, even the courtroom. People sign, buy, and say yes right in the middle of it, then spend the next year wondering why it all went sideways.

Portrait of Mary-Jane

Your reader

Meet Mary-Jane.

I didn’t learn to read charts. I was born reading the room — a quiet knowing that arrived from somewhere underneath thought, long before I had words for it.

I was seven the day I got separated from my parents inside Macy’s — the enormous one at Herald Square, a few blocks below the roar of Times Square — swept into a crowd that would have swallowed any child whole. I didn’t cry. I didn’t panic. I sat down and waited, because I already knew, the way I always know, that they were coming back for me. Eight hours later, they did.

That calm certainty never left me. I spent the next thirty years learning to name it — through numerology, the stars, and the old Chinese calendars — so I could hand it to you.

Now I read your chart the way I read that crowd: and I tell you, plainly, that you’re going to be okay — and the one move to make next.

She called my clash year in January. By March I understood exactly what she meant. I don't sign anything without checking the memo now.

Questions, answered

How long does it take you to respond to a question?+

On average, your written answer arrives by email within 3 to 7 hours. Every so often something comes up on my end — a family emergency, a day that gets away from me — so it can run a little longer, but that's generally the window I respond in. If you need it sooner, add a priority response for an additional fee and I'll move you to the front of the line, within 2 to 3 hours.

Is this just another horoscope app?+

No. Horoscope columns are written for one-twelfth of humanity at a time. Your memo is computed from your exact birth date, time and place, your address, and the birth years of the entities you register — then synthesized across three separate systems into one daily letter.

What exactly is an Enemy Year?+

In Chinese metaphysics, Tai Sui (the Grand Duke Jupiter) governs each year's fortune. When your zodiac sign conflicts with the year's sign — by value, clash, harm, break, or punishment — you're 'offending Tai Sui.' These years historically correlate with career upheaval, financial loss, and legal friction. I alert you before the year begins and give you the traditional remedies.

Do I need to know my birth time?+

Your date alone unlocks numerology, sun sign, and your full Chinese zodiac reading. Adding your birth time and place unlocks houses, rising sign, and astrocartography. You can add it later.

How do entity readings work?+

Everything has a birth year — your company's founding date, your car's manufacturing year, the year a relationship began. Each carries a zodiac signature that harmonizes or clashes with yours. Tell me what to watch — your business, your car, a relationship — and I fold them into your daily guidance.

Can I cancel anytime?+

Yes — two clicks from your dashboard, no retention games. Annual members are refunded pro-rata for unused full months.

Are you on social media?+

No, and I don't plan to be. I prefer my privacy, and I've never been big on social media. The work I do is quiet and personal, and I like to keep it that way — just you, me, and your reading.

Is this a substitute for professional advice?+

No. Mary-Jane's Almanac is for insight, reflection, and entertainment. It is not financial, legal, medical, or psychological advice — big decisions deserve licensed professionals alongside the stars.
